‘Split Frenz are the UK’s only Tribute Band to the Mighty ‘Split Enz’’ AND ‘Crowded House’

They recreate the ‘New Zealand Beatles’, 80’s New Wave Pop, and Delicious Melodies added Mancunian Swagger, on a mission to emulate the joy and chaos of the original Enz and Crowdies that warms the soul of old school fans, but still opens the heart of first time listeners.

Both Raucous and invigoratingly witty. Every night watching Split Frenz always ‘Enz’ in a bang.’

We do have an opening act in mind. My mate Brian Atherton sings in Horwich based band ‘Monkey Finger’ and we’d love them on the bill if possible. Brian says he’s played the Ramp before since you might have his details  already. I’ll chase him up and forward them to you in case you haven’t.

Gary Meikle returns to the stage with another new show which has quickly become the yearly norm for him now.   Hi guys it’s me, Gary.    These blurbs do my head in if I’m honest, each year I need to sit and write one out before I even know what stories I’m gonna share, well I mean I don’t have to  write one I could pay something else to do it but f*** that they’d just write some mundane vague crap which I can clearly do myself.  At least this way you know I’ve written it personally.  So what’s the new show about?  Again,  I don’t know yet, but it will contain at least one ‘yer maw’ Joke,  what I do know is that it’ll be another brand new 80-90 minutes of stories, opinions and observations about me, and my family as well as you all its always about people and the mad shit we do, sometimes animals but more often than not it’s about people and the stupid scenarios we end up in.  I wonder if that’s now enough wordage to cover the minimum blurb requirement? I guess we’ll see, and I’ll see you all soon maybe  – oh, one last thing, my show isn’t suitable for small people, some of it might be about them, in fact it definitely will but, yeah they ain’t getting in 🙂
